Research Overview

My research explores the possibilities of enriching creativity in education and the role of creativity in more effective learning and teaching. I’m interested in cognitive and non-cognitive antecedents and correlates of creative functioning, with a particular emphasis on creative self-beliefs and intelligence. Most of my recent studies utilize longitudinal and cross-sequential designs to explore how cognitive and non-cognitive characteristics interact in predicting creative behavior.
