Research overview

My main research interests are:

(1) understanding and modeling processes involved in creative activities, in both professional (e.g. designers, physicians) and educational (e.g. design students or future teachers) contexts;

(2) developing methods or techniques (e.g. specific variants of brainstorming) and computational systems (e.g. human-computer interactions with avatars in a virtual reality environment or with a system providing users with inspirational images or words) to support creative activities;

(3) analysing the use of these methods, techniques and systems, and their impact on creative activities.
